People suffering from HIV and AIDS are often too sick to travel to get the medical help they desperately need. Our volunteers therefore provide fundamental care for those suffering through the home-based care program. These volunteers visit individuals and families to offer much needed support and bring medications and food packages. During the rainy season the volunteers do it tough, walking many kilometres through mud and rain to do their visiting. A raincoat or umbrella makes their job much easier and enables them to continue their rounds throughout the year.
