WHY SUPPORT ORANGE HOPE?
OUR GOALS
TO PROVIDE AND CARE FOR ORPHANS AFFECTED BY HIV AND AIDS
COUNSEL FAMILIES ON ISSUES RELATING TO REDUCING THE SPREAD OF HIV AND LIVING POSITIVELY WITH HIV
TO SUPPORT FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES CARING FOR ORPHANS
TO REDUCE STIGMA AND DISCRIMINATION AGAINST THOSE WITH HIV AND AIDS
ABOUT THE PROJECT
1 in 8 adults in Malawi have HIV, with still a million orphans and another generation of youth at high risk of infection.
AIDS is still silently destroying lives, hopes and communities in Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world. Through HOPE for AIDS, lives are being transformed and hope is being rediscovered.
HOPE for AIDS strives to bring practical, emotional and spiritual help to the poorest and most vulnerable people, in some of the hardest to reach rural villages.
Orange HOPE is a fundraising initiative initially undertaken to support SIM Malawi's HOPE for AIDS program.
It provides a new opportunity for individuals and groups to partner with SIMaid by raising financial support for HOPE for AIDS projects and to have a lot of fun while doing it!
YOUR IMPACT

MASTER PROJECT
The purpose of this master project is to provide a mechanism in order to receive & disburse funds for approved HOPE for AIDS projects.
This master project is designed to cascade money and other forms of support to specific projects in areas that are participating in the HOPE for AIDS program.
Orange HOPE is an active and leading player in the management of AIDS/HIV alleviation programs.
With numerous programs underway there is a need to coordinate the efficient allocation of donations and other assistance to those who need it.
An investment here will allow Orange HOPE to most efficiently get aid to those who need it.
OPERATION NEIGHBOUR CARE
The HIV and AIDS pandemic impacts heavily on the people of Zimbabwe.
This project provides for those peoples allowing on-going care by trained local volunteers as well as reducing the rate of infection through education, testing and encouraging safe practices.
Orphaned and vulnerable children and their carers, are given access to food, shelter, education.
Your investment in this project places aid in a critically strategic region of Zimbabwe which suffers from few resources which can be used to combat HIV infection.
Your investment also has a long term view, this operation aims to educate the community on HIV/AIDS transmission and care for those who have contracted the disease.
